Summer Camp

Summer Adventure is a camp program for members ages 7-12. The program offers youth a safe environment to build new skills, foster new friendships, learn self-reliance, and become more confident all while having fun and being active in the great outdoors! Activities include fishing, boating, arts & crafts, hiking, sports, and much more! Summer Adventure is held at beautiful Camp Hale in Westwood, MA.

Update: All weeks are full for Junior Camp Leaders (ages 13+). Weeks 5 and 9 are full for Campers (ages 7-12).

2017 Camp Counselor Orientation Schedule

Registration – Weeks 5 and 9 are FULL**
Please complete the following forms and return to the Front Desk along with a $50 non-refundable deposit in form of cash or check (made payable to “Watertown Boys & Girls Club”) for each registered week. You must be a member of Watertown Boys & Girls Club to participate in Summer Adventure: Camp Hale. A Summer Membership can be obtained for $10 and is valid July 1 through August 31.

Junior Camp Leader Program – FULL**
This leadership position is for ages 13 and up. Teens looking to earn credit for community service hours are able to use half of the hours worked at Summer Adventure. Applications are available at the Club. Applicants are not guaranteed a position. Space is limited! Registration is first come first serve.

Financial Aid
The deadline to submit financial aid applications has passed. If you are interested in being placed on a wait-list for financial aid, please contact Kerry Evans at or 617-926-0968.

Drop Off and Pick Up
Drop off is between 8:00 and 8:45 a.m. The bus to Camp Hale leaves at 9:00 a.m.

The bus back from Camp Hale arrives at the Club at approximately 4:45 p.m. Pick-up is from 4:45 to 5:30 p.m.
Children must be picked up by 5:30 p.m.

Parents must accompany their child(ren) into the Club on Monday of each week they are registered for. Please note: campers must be signed out each day. The person picking up the camper will be asked to show identification – please come prepared! We cannot leave children unattended to wait.
