Building great futures for over 50 years!

FROM THE CLUBHOUSE TO THE WHITE HOUSE

Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s national programs have taken members from the Clubhouse to the White House; from the games room to the corporate boardroom; from the high school orchestra to Carnegie Hall. Boys & Girls Clubs of America has a lineup of tested and proven nationally recognized programs that address today’s most pressing youth issues, teaching young people the skills they need to succeed in life.

The Watertown Boys & Girls Club:

  • Serves 1,400 registered members between 7 and 18 years old
  • Offers a wide range of activities and programs to fit individual needs

Our Club is a safe, creative setting with trained, compassionate adult staff who help guide and coach boys and girls in academic success, healthy living, character development and peer relationships. Young people enjoy meaningful opportunities to grow, learn and share during their critical childhood and teen years.

The Club is a community partner, leasing its gymnasium and pool to local family & social service agencies. Our resources help serve an additional 1,200 youth from Watertown and surrounding communities. The pool is also available to residents for private swim time, lessons and event rentals.

Our mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.

“My daughter views her friends and the staff at Watertown Boys & Girls Club as her second family. A member of Torch Club and swim team, she has found a safe and fun place to explore various interests and develop new skills. Since joining the Club, she has become more vocal in expressing her ideas and more confident in her abilities. Best of all, she has found a community that values and nurtures her.”

“The Club has allowed me to do things I have never done before. “

“When I started swim team in second grade, I had no confidence at all, but now, I have confidence. The coaches helped me learn how to set goals. The swim team has given me motivation, discipline, determination, encouragement and made me believe in myself.”
